This is an exciting opportunity for outstanding professionals to join our Protection Team undertaking the role of Fire Safety Inspector, in Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service.

In the role of Fire Safety Inspector, you will be required to inspect premises in accordance with Service policy to enforce relevant fire safety legislation and also provide fire safety and risk assessment advice, and guidance. You will be building and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues across the Service and with Building Control bodies, Local Authorities and other regulatory agencies as well as taking an active part in transforming our Fire Protection Services as we continue to adapt to forthcoming changes in fire safety regulations.

The role of Fire Safety Inspector is open to individuals that have a minimum Level 3 Diploma in Fire Safety or equivalent fire safety related qualification or significant experience working as a regulator.

Closing date for applications is 12 noon on 14 February 2025.

We anticipate interviews to take place w/c 3rd March 2025.
