At 21:43, three fire engines from Chorley, Penwortham, and Darwen, and the water incident unit from Penwortham attended a small boat fire on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, Whittle-le-Woods, Chorley. Firefighters used one hose reel to bring the fire under control and were in attendance for just over one hour.
