At 3.00 hrs on the 25th March 2025 three fire engines from Leyland and Bamber Bridge attended a fire involving a commercial building on Sustainable Way, Leyland. The fire involved waste within the building. Fire crews used four breathing apparatus, one main jet and a positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish the fire. Crews were on the scene for two and half hours.
