At 06:48 on 9th February, 2025, three fire engines from Skelmersdale and Wigan (from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service) attended a commercial property on Paddock Road West, Pimbo, Up Holland. Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for one hour and fifteen minutes.
