At 00:38 on the 16th June 2024, two fire engines from Skelmersdale and Ormskirk attended a commercial building fire on Glenburn Road, Skelmersdale. Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used one hose reel, two thermal imaging cameras and two lighting units. Crews were in attendance for five hours.
