At 18:37 on 18 December 2024, two fire engines from Preston and Bamber Bridge responded to a property fire on Friargate Walk, Preston. The fire involved the kitchen of a commercial property, and firefighters used four breathing apparatus and one hose reel to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for two hours.
