At 15:44 on the 12th August 2024, three fire engines from Preston, Wesham and Lytham attended a derelict building fire on Preston New Road, Freckleton. Firefighters used two hose reel jets and a light portable pump to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for five hours.
