At 12:29 hrs on 25th March 2025, two fire engines from Blackpool fire station attended a domestic premises on Lindsay Avenue, Poulton-Le-Fylde. Firefighters extinguished the fire involving the kitchen using one hose reel, one breathing apparatus and positive pressure ventilation fan. One casualty suffering from smoke inhalation was assessed by the fire service trauma technician and has declined any hospital treatment. A home safety assessment was carried out by fire crews whist in attendance. Fire crews were on the scene for approximately one hour and forty minutes.
