At 10:07am on March 31st 2025, two fire engines from Blackburn and Morecambe attended a domestic property fire on Mona Road in Blackburn. Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used one hose reel and positive pressure ventilation to extinguish the fire. One dog was rescued from the property, and crews provided oxygen therapy. Crews were in attendance for forty minutes.
