Eight fire engines, one aerial ladder platform, the drone team and the firefighting robot are in attendance at a domestic property fire, approximately 4m x 6m, on Henson Avenue, Blackpool. Firefighters are using four breathing apparatus, three hose reel jets, two main jets, and a triple extension ladder to extinguish the fire.
Update at 14:45: Firefighters are continuing to fight the fire using six breathing apparatus, two jets, one hose reel jet, and the aerial ladder platform.
Update at 15:15: Firefighting is continuing with one aerial ladder platform, hose reel jets, four breathing apparatus, two main jets, and two positive pressure ventilation units.
Update at 17:10: The incident has now been reduced to four fire engines and the aerial ladder platform.
Update on 18 Dec at 09:45: There are two fire engines, one aerial ladder platform, and one supporting fire engine who remain in attendance. Firefighters are continuing to monitor temperatures using a thermal imaging camera.
