At 13:04 on 23 December 2024, two fire engines from Blackpool attended a fire on Central Drive, Blackpool. The fire involved the first floor bedroom in a property. Firefighters used one hose, one thermal imaging camera, hearth kit, Milwaukee toolbox and one positive pressure ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for forty-five minutes.
