Domestic property fire in Burscough

Three fire engines from Ormskirk and Wigan, along with the aerial ladder platform, with a supporting fire engine from Preston, and the drone attended a domestic premises on Rees Park, Burscough. The fire involved a shed containing oxygen cylinders, which had spread to the property and an adjacent house. Firefighters used three hose reel jets, four breathing apparatus, a positive pressure ventilation fan, aerial ladder platform, and a gas monitor to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for approximately twelve hours.
