Three fire engines from Burnley, Padiham, and Nelson attended a kitchen fire in a domestic property on Station Road in Padiham. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one hose reel jet, a ventilation unit, and a gas monitor to extinguish the fire. Two casualties received treatment at the incident by North West Ambulance Service.
