At 10:36 on 6th April 2025, two fire engines from Preston and Fulwood attended a building fire on Alexander Place, Preston. The fire involved a washing machine in a domestic property. Fire crews wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using one hose reel jet. Crews were in attendance for approximately forty-five minutes.
