At 20:26 on Thursday, April 3rd, 2025, five fire engines from Lancaster, Morecambe, Bolton le Sands, and the Drone attended a fire in the open on Workshop Road, Middleton. The fire involved a large stack of pallets. Crews used two hose reels to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for four hours and thirty minutes.
