At 18:40, three fire engines from Bamber Bridge, Leyland, and Penwortham, as well as the aerial ladder platform from Preston, attended a house fire on Merlin Grove, Leyland. Firefighters used four breathing apparatus, one hose reel, one jet, and one roof ladder. No injuries were reported.
