At 12:54 on 18th July 2024, two fire engines from South Shore and Blackpool fire stations attended a road traffic collision on Vicarage Lane, Blackpool. Firefighters assessed two casualties on the scene and left them in the care of the North West Ambulance Service, then made both vehicles safe. Crews were in attendance for approximately forty minutes.
