At 12:50 hours on Wednesday, 27th November 2024, three fire engines from Chorley, Burnley, and Nelson attended a road traffic collision involving one vehicle on Barden Lane, Brierfield. Firefighters used Holmatro cutting equipment to extricate one casualty who was trapped in the vehicle. Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour and thirty minutes.
