At 09:13 on 7 April 2025, three fire engines from South Shore and St Annes attended a road traffic collision on Clifton Drive North, St Annes. The road traffic collision involved two vehicles with four casualties who were passed in to the care of north west ambulance service. Fire crews used a trauma pack, hearth kit and oil pads to make the scene safe and were on scene for fifty minutes.
