On 21st March 2025 at 18:50, two fire engines from Lancaster and Fulwood attended an incident on the M6 southbound at Junction 32. The fire involved one vehicle on the hard shoulder. Firefighters used one hose reel and one breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour and thirty minutes.
