At 13.56 on 23rd April, 2025, a fire engine from Preston attended a vehicle fire on the M6. Fire fighters wore breathing apparatus and used 1hose reel and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire. No casualties were involved. The crew was in attendance for 10 minutes.
