Spot the Danger: Cooking Safety Colouring Competition
We are inviting Lancashire’s young artists to help spread an important fire safety message – and be in with a chance of winning a fantastic prize.
Primary school-aged children (Reception to Year 6) across Lancashire are encouraged to enter our Spot the Danger colouring competition. This is a fun activity designed to help children identify common cooking hazards and learn how to stay safe in the kitchen.
How to Enter
1. Follow the link to download and print the official Spot the Danger colouring sheet
2. Colour it in, identifying the five hidden cooking hazards
3. Upload a photo of the completed colouring sheet by following this link to the comments of our Facebook competition post or via direct message.
The competition is open to children who live in Lancashire.
All entries must be submitted by midnight on Monday 21st April 2025. Unfortunately, entries submitted after this time will not be considered.
The Prize
One winner will be chosen at random and will receive an Amazon Fire HD 10 Kids tablet.

By entering, you confirm that you have parental or guardian consent and agree to the competition terms and conditions.
We may contact the winner to request the original drawing to help us reproduce it at a suitable quality.

· One entry per child
· All entries must be completed using the official colouring sheet
· Open to primary school age children who live in Lancashire.
· Entries must be submitted via the comments section of the original competition Facebook post, found by following this link or via direct message on Facebook.
· The winning entry may be shared on Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service’s website and social media.
· We reserve the right to reproduce and adapt the winning design
· No cash or alternative prizes will be offered
· Entries that are inappropriate or not relevant to the theme may be disqualified
· Parental or guardian consent is required to enter the competition
· You may withdraw your entry at any time by deleting your original comment or contacting us directly
