Scale 5, SCP 14-19 £27,344 - £29,777

Working Arrangements: 

36.25 hours per week, flexitime working arrangements

Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service currently have an exciting opportunity for a Training Development Practitioner in our Training and Operational Review (TOR) Department based at our Service Training Centre in Chorley.

The Service Training Centre delivers training and development to operational and support staff of Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service.

The post holder will support the Training and Operational Review Department to contribute to, and influence, learning and development in the workplace at an individual, team and organisation level.  Primarily, this will involve assisting in the management, production and administration of e-learning packages that support the delivery of learning and development across the Service.

The successful candidate will have experience of developing presentations or training packages, with a good level of IT and communication skills, and who can work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines.

We anticipate interviews will take place w/c 05 august 2024. As part of the interview candidates will be required to prepare a short presentation, the subject of which will be confirmed in advance.
