At 19:47 hours on Thursday, 18th July 2024, four fire engines from Hyndburn, Burnley, and Nelson attended an incident on George Street, Burnley. The fire involved a small amount of rubbish in a derelict building. Firefighters used one hose reel to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for approximately thirty minutes.
