At 16:39 on 23 May, four fire engines from Blackpool and South Shore attended a domestic building fire on Meyler Avenue, Blackpool. Firefighters used four breathing apparatus and one hose reel to extinguish the fire. One casualty was treated by crews before being placed in the care of North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) paramedics. Crews were in attendance for two and a half hours.
