At 14:16 on Wednesday, 18th September 2024, three fire engines from Hyndburn and Blackburn attended a road traffic collision involving two vehicles on Blackburn Road, Church, Accrington. Crews administered first aid to one casualty and then handed the casualty into the care of the North West Ambulance Service. Crews were engaged for approximately forty-five minutes.
