At 05:31 hours, four fire engines from Chorley, Leyland, Horwich, and Wigan, and a water bowser from Leyland attended a large commercial skip fire on Coppull Road, Chorley. Firefighters used one hose reel, one triple extension ladder, and one power cutting saw. The fire service remained at the scene for one hour and twenty minutes.
