At 06:09 on the 19th August 2024, three fire engines from Wesham, South Shore and Blackpool attended a vehicle fire on M55 West between Junction 3 and 4. Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used one hose reel to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for an hour.
