At 17:05 on 28th February 2025, three fire engines from Lancaster, Morecambe, and Preston attended a fire involving a derelict commercial building on Station Lane, Scorton, near Preston. Firefighters extinguished the fire using one hose reel and one thermal imaging camera. Crews were in attendance for approximately thirty minutes.
