House fire in Longton

At 13:55, two fire engines from Bamber Bridge and Penwortham attended a domestic premises on Chapel Lane, Longton. Firefighters extinguished the fire involving a tumble dryer in a domestic building using two hose reels, four breathing apparatus, one positive pressure ventilation fan, and a gas monitor. Fire crews were on scene for approximately one hour and twenty-five minutes.
