At 21:42 on Sunday, 29th December 2024, two fire engines from Darwen attended a fire in a property on Harwood Street, Darwen. Fire service crews used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel to extinguish the fire. Crews were engaged at the incident for thirty-five minutes.
