At 11:41 on the 23rd October 2024, four fire engines from Blackpool, Bispham and St Annes along with the aerial ladder platform from Blackpool attended a rescue of person from height on Chain lane, Staining, Blackpool. Firefighters rescue one casualty using an aerial ladder platform and a trauma bag before the casualty was conveyed to hospital by North West Ambulance Service. Crews were in attendance for one hour.
